BLOODING THE HOHENZOLLERN: THE GERMAN CROWN PRINCE AND HIS SONS
The German Crown Prince is here seen giving his sons their first taste of military life while returning from cavalry exercises at Langfuhr, near Danzig, where he has been stationed for some time. They are riding at the head of the Crown Prince’s regiment, the famous Death’s Head Hussars, Prince Wilhelm, the eldest son (born July, 1906),
having his own mount, while the second son, Prince Louis Ferdinand (born November, 1907), is in his father’s arms.
