A NEW RECRUIT FOR GERMANY’S AIR NAVY

THE LATEST ZEPPELIN FLYING OVER LAKE CONSTANCE

The picture shows the latest Zeppelin airship flying over Lindau Harbour, on Lake Constance. Germany has now twenty-five dirigibles in commission, their powerful engines propelling them at a rate of fifty miles an hour, while scattered over the country are twenty-seven aerial harbours to which the aircraft can run for shelter if caught in a gale.
Germany is now constructing a concealed airship shed in Heligoland. This novel house is to be placed in a deep hollow, and can be raised or lowered at will.
