By “letting George do it” you can operate twice the length of line with one hand chain or motor that you can without his help. In the foundry shown below, twelve 220-foot runs of the largest size of Pond Continuous Sash are controlled each by one hand chain. “George” does it!
On any basis of figuring, it is more economical to use one operating power, with George helping, than two powers without him.
