Heats All the Radiation for which it is Rated
A Kewanee Boiler rated to heat
5000 square feet of radiation will heat all of that amount.
If your job requires 5000 square
feet of radiators there is no need to specify a Kewanee Boiler rated larger than that amount. Kewanee ratings are honest and conservative. You can bank on a Kewanee Boiler to heat the entire capacity which its rating says it will heat.
The ratings are based on a stan
dard for steam of two pounds pressure at the boiler; for water, on a temperature of 180 degrees F. as the water leaves the boilers.
Figure the amount of radiation your job requires. If it amounts to 5000 square feet select a Kewanee (from our Catalog No. 74) rated to heat 5000 feet. A larger Kewanee is not necessary.
