WHY?
There is no combustible material in hollow metal doors and trim. There are no seams to burst open, thus permitting a fire to pass. The dead air space in the stiles and rails is a non-conductor of heat. Therefore, it would take heat sufficient to melt the steel or glass to permit the fire to pass.
