A plant So designed that the same safety device that stops it in an emergency, will automatically start it and restore control to the thermostat as soon as the emergency has passed. Any refrigerating plant that requires an attendant to start it after an emergency stop is only Semi-automatic.
The Automatic High Pressure Safety Cut-out does just that. When an emergency comes, the Cut-out supersedes the Thermostat and stops the Compressor. When things are normal again, the Cut-out closes the relay circuit, starts the Compressor motor and hands the control back to the Thermostat—automatically.
