R
ECENT progress in daylighting and natural ventilation for industrial plants has run far
beyond text-book standards. In very wide buildings of any sort, and in buildings where heat, smoke or fumes are produced, a conventional design is a missed opportunity.
As makers of certain types of steel sash of more than ordinary ventilating capabilities, it has been our privilege to contribute largely to this advancement. The results are seen today in hundreds of buildings where wide floor areas are combined with ample daylighting and fresh air, efficient layouts, and high production per unit space.
These results are obtained by planning the floor layout, the ceiling or roof height, the arrangement of roof planes, and the location, area, and control of both inlets and outlets, so that sufficient and uniformly distributed air currents will spontaneously follow.
We are glad to place this unique experience at the service of architects and engineers for the benefit of users of LUPTON STEEL SASH PRODUCT In return we ask only fair consideration of our products on their merits and of the design we recommend.
