Hilde, and other owners, including a diamond three-stone ring, a pearl and diamond sautoir, a diamond necklet, a small diamond necklace, also forming a tiara, two pearl necklaces, a small collection of gold cigarette boxes by modern makers, the property of Lady Duveen, an important pair of emerald and diamond cluster earrings, an important spray brooch in pearls and diamonds and a silver cigarette case, formerly the property of Cecil J. Rhodes.

Rowley, a large and interesting 17th-century tablet dial by Lienhart Miller, dated 1613, a 17th-century Indo- Portuguese brass astrolabe, and a late-16th-century Flemish brass astrolabe. 111. Cat. Fine Chinese Pottery and Porcelain and Works of Art, of various owners, including an interesting Sung celadon jar, a rare small corn measure vase in underglaze blue, of the Hsuan Te period, a Fukien blanc de chine figure of Buddha with the reign mark of Wan Li, an important pair of large armorial vases, a series of famille-rose and famil/e-verte figures and groups, and a remarkable ruby-back dish painted with a quail and with an hua (secret) decoration, one of the four recorded examples. 111.
