It will be 126 × 140 and will be of brick, terra cotta, marble tiling, with a partial tiling roof and roof garden. It will cost $250, 000.
The Merchants’ National Bank, W. J. Echols, president, will erect a $100, 000 six story bank and office building on Garrison Ave.
Fort Wayne, Ind. — Reports state that an arcade building, to cost $200, 000, is to be erected here for E. C. Rurode. The building will be four stories high, of pressed brick and stone, and 120 × 150 feet in dimensions. Col. J. M. Wood, Cincinnati, O., is architect.
Fort Worth, Texas. — Dr. Bacon Saunders, Fort Worth, Texas, has let contract to Buchanan & Gilder, Renolds Building, for ten-story steel-frame office building; ornamental iron, plastic ornament, marble work, press brick, stone, terra cotta, elevators, etc. Sanguinett & Staats, Hoxie Building, architects.

Greensboro, Ala. — It is reported that W. C. Christian, judge of probate, Hale County, will receive bids until August 6 for erection of court-house. Plans and specifications on file in his office and at office of E. J. Ostling, architect, 32 Moses Building, Montgomery, Ala.
Guilford College, N. C. — Reports state that Guilford College has adopted plans by Hook & Rogers, of Charlotte, N. C., for new dormitory; three stories; heated by steam.
Guthrie, O. T. — Logan County Commissioners will hold a meeting July 2 to consider a proposition from Joseph W. Mc- Neal to advance $100, 000 for the erection of court-house.
Hammond, La. — Reports state that another new hotel is to be built here for tourists, at a cost of about $50, 000.
Harrisburg, Pa. — It is reported that the Anheuser-Busch Brewing Co. is preparing to erect a $500, 000 hotel here.
Hattiesberg, Miss. — The members of the First M. E. Church, it is reported, have decided to erect a $40, 000 edifice.
Havelock, Neb. — The Masonic Temple Association, it is stated, is preparing to erect a building.
Hopkinsville, Ky. — Forbes Manufacturing Co. is preparing plans and will take bids on a three-story building for Kentucky College; A. C. Kuykendale, president; brick; electric-lighting fixtures; cost, $50, 000.
Houston, Texas. — Bids will be opened August 7, at the office of Henry Miller, grand keeper of records and seal, Knights of Pythias, Weatherford, Texas, for the erection of main building for the widows and orphans’ home, after plans by C. H. Page; to be 213 × 107 feet; stone; fireproof construction; cost, $65, 000. The two smaller buildings will be erected later.
A building committee of five was appointed at the quarterly conference of Shearn Methodist Church to take charge of all arrangements for the planning and erection of the new church to be built at the corner of San Jacinton St. and McKinney Ave.
