It is reported that contracts have been awarded for the erection of the $450,000 annex to the Peabody Hotel. It is to be 46x150 ft., of fire-proof construction. Chighizola, Hanker & Cairns, Scimitar Building, are architects.
Mexico City, Mex.—The members of the Y. M. C. A. of the Republic of Mexico are said to be contemplating the erection of a $100,000 building in this city.
Mexico City, Mex.—The Masons, it is said, are contemplating the erection of a temple here, to cost about $100,000.
Mexico, Mo.—It is reported that the city is having plans prepared for the erection of a $50,000 school building. Wallace Dearing is City Clerk.
Milwaukee, Wis.—Plans have been prepared by Hood & Tullgren, architects, 86 Michigan street, for an apartment building, to be erected at Milwaukee street and Juneau avenue by Walter Read and Thomas J. Neacy, at an estimated cost of $100,000.
Milwaukee, Wis.—It is stated that plans for a brick restaurant building to be erected at Detroit street and Broadway, costing about $50,000, are being prepared by August Uihlein, 831 Wells Building.
Wolff & Ewens, architects, will be ready for figures in a few days on the superstructure for the proposed $150,000, three-story brick bottling house for the Miller Brewing Company Building, to be 100x250, of fire-proof construction with concrete foundation, structural iron beams and girders and hollow tile partitions. The contract for the foundation has been awarded to the Northwestern Tile Company, 428 Grand avenue.
Herman Nunnemacher is building an annex to the Westminster Apartments at the corner of Farwell avenue and Bellevue place, opposite Westminster Church. The annex will be three-story, 60x80, constructed of brick, iron, and concrete. The first floor exterior will be of cut stone. The buildingwill be provided with steam heating apparatus and all modern improvements. Hood & Tullgren, architects. This building, which, it is expected, will be finished by May x, 1907, will be one of a series of three that Mr. Nunnemacher contemplates building in the immediate neighborhood.

Minneapolis, Minn.—it is now definitely settled that the Curtis Motel Company will erect an $500,000 ten-story hre-proot hotel on the George A. iTilsbury estate, at tenth street and imrd avenue bouth. the hotel will be of fire-proof construction throughout and will be of steel and concrete.
It. is stated that the T. E. Curtis Company intends to build a new flat on the corner of Ninth street and Mary place, which will cost at least $100,000.
It is reported that the North Star Boot and Shoe Company will erect a factory, cost about $325,000.
Harry W. Jones, architect, is preparing plans for a brick warehouse for Wyman, .Cartridge & Co., to be erected at Third avenue, North, beyond Seventh street, adjoining the present warehouse. It will be eight-story, 100x180. Cost, $60,000.
Mishawaka, Ind.—H. Richards, of Chicago, 111., it is reported, has prepared plans for a hotel to be erected at a cost of $65,000, exclusive of the equipment. M. W. Mix and others are interested.
Mitchell, S. D.—The Methodist Society, it is stated, is planning the construction of a church to cost $40,000.
Mobile, Ala.—Plans, it is stated, have been completed for an eight-story addition which A. Danowich & Sons propose erecting to their present hotel on Royal street.
Montgomery, Ala.—J. R. G. Ivey and Edward Noble are considering the erection of a four-story hotel of concrete blocks, on a site recently purchased.
Nashville, Tenn.—Architect C. K. Colley, 43 Chamber of Commerce Building, Nashville, Tenn., it is stated, will prepare plans for a new hotel to be erected at Hamilton Spring, about twenty-six miles from Nashville, Tenn. Cost, $50,000.
Niagara Falls, N. Y.—It is reported that the Niagara Electro Chemical Company will erect a brick and steel addition, 60x208 ft., to its plant. Robert C. Fayfield is architect, Ellicott Square Building, Buffalo, N. Y.
New York, N. Y.—Reports state that plans have been filed for a two-story brick and stone public bath to be erected at 83 Carmine street, for the City of New York, at a cost of $130,000. Renwick, Aspinwall & Tucker, 320 Fifth avenue, are the architects.
We have been advised that the contract for “The Fairmont,” to be erected at 438 West One Hundred and Sixteenth street, has been awarded to R. H. Casey, New York. Frank E. Perkins is the architect.
Plans have been filed-for.. a brick and stone church to be erected at Fifty-fourth street and Eighth avenue for the Amity Baptist Church at a cost of $45,000. Rossiter & Wright, no East Twenty-third street, are the architects.
Plans have been filed with Building Superintendent Murphy for a public bath building to be erected at the corner of Cherry and Oliver streets. Plorgan & Slattery, 1 Madison avenue, architects. Cost, $125,000.
