The question of holding an architectural exhibition next fall was discussed, and committees were appointed to look into the matter and report at a future meeting.
ROTCH TRAVELLING SCHOLARSHIP.
Nine men are taking the examinations for this year’s Rotch Travelling Scholarship prize. Five of them are from Boston, two are from New York, and two more have returned from Paris for this special purpose. Only two of the nine are taking the preliminary examinations; the rest have passed their preliminaries at some previous year, or are university graduates.
The work upon the sketch, which is the decisive feature of the competition, will be held on April 21.
ARCHITECTURAL LEAGUE OF AMERICA.
The Executive Board has decided to have printed 1, 000 copies of the resume of the proceedings of the New York Convention. Also 1, 000 copies of the Constitution, and to include in the same pamphlet the code on competition. These will be sent the members of the League some time during the month of April.
The following delegates to the International Congress of Architects, to be held in London in July, have been elected. (Other members of the League are urged to elect their delegates at once and send the names to the Corresponding Secretary ):

J. P. Hynes, of Toronto, has been appointed Chairman of the Committee on European Tours, the other members of the Committee being Emil Lorch and Nicola D’Ascenzo.
Albert C. Kelsey has been appointed Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Correspondence and has selected Max Dunning and Kark Bittner to serve with him.
The following is a list of the members of the various Committees, not previously report, so far as selected:
Circuit Exhibition — Newton A. Wells, Urbana, Ill., Chairman.
A preliminary competition for the Foreign Traveling Scholarship was held on February 25, and twenty-three men entered. The final drawings are to be submitted April 24.
Preliminary notices relating to the Harvard Scholarships have been sent out, April 15th having been selected as the date for holding the competition. Owing to the fact that this date falls on Easter Sunday, it was
deemed advisable to postpone it for a week, which will make the date April 22. The final drawings are to be completed by April 30 and sent to William B. Ittner, Corresponding Secretary, Board of Education building, Ninth and Locust streets, St. Louis, Mo.
The announcement of the winners will be made immediately thereafter, and the award certified by the authorities at Harvard. The school-year begins September 27.
The Executive Board is pleased to announce that Washington University, St. Louis, has offered one scholarship for a regular student in architecture to members of the League. The value of the scholarship is $150 annually. The method of awarding the scholarship will be announced later. William B. Ittner,

BOSTON SOCIETY OF CIVIL ENGINEERS.
At the annual meeting of the Boston Society of Civil Engineers, the followingnamed officers were elected: President, Frank W. Hodgdon; Vice-president, Leonard Metcalf; Secretary, S. Everett Tinkham; Treasurer, William S. Johnson; Librarian, Frank P. McKibben; Director, Charles T. Main. The reports of the society show that the past year has been a prosperous one. Its funds have increased in a satisfactory amount, and its total membership is now 621.
