This is the first building to be built on Concrete piles. The Raymond System was used. We are pioneers in the field. The architect is authority for the statement that there has been no settlement of this foundation. By using concrete piles a saving of over 40 per cent, was made over any other style of permanent foundation.
PLANS OF FOUNDATION.
The center line of the wall has a bearing on each concrete pile. The foundation of the Bryson apartment building, Chicago, was built on the plan shown above.
